Inside Rex

Rex is a complex electromechanical device, custom designed, patented and built by the scientists and engineers at Rex Bionics. Each Rex contains thousands of precision parts comprising Rex's limbs which are controlled by a network of 29 micro controllers.

The specialised array of micro controllers in Rex allows it to move and respond within milliseconds ensuring Rex movements feel smooth and instantaneous to the Rex user.

"Through the use of sophisticated engineering and continuous improvement in functionality, form and usability we aim to reach as many people around the globe as we can. Providing mobility, health and well being to potentially millions of people is our goal. Seeing the reactions from Rex users is incredibly emotional and powerful and drives the Rex team forward each and every day."
